WNSL is excited to partner with TeamCord to launch the WNSL Coaching Academy, a new coach development opportunity designed to support our coaches beyond the Xs and Os.

The Academy is part of WNSL’s broader commitment to coach development, helping coaches lead with greater confidence, communicate more effectively, and create a positive experience for players and families across the league.

The WNSL Coaching Academy is an interactive, in-person workshop created specifically for youth sports coaches. While drills and game strategy are important, this experience focuses on the people side of coaching, including building team culture, setting expectations, communicating with players and parents, and leading with purpose throughout the season.

Coaches who participate will receive:

·       TeamCord Coaching Styles Assessment

·      Personalized coaching profile

·      Access to the TeamCord development portal

·      Practical coaching tools and resources

·      WNSL Certified Coach recognition

·      Membership in the WNSL Coaches Community

Coaches Meeting Credit

Participation in the WNSL Coaching Academy fulfills the coaches meeting requirement for the upcoming season. Coaches who attend an Academy session do not need to attend a separate coaches meeting.

Thanks to league and sponsor support, coaches can attend the first fall Academy sessions for just $25 per coach ($50 per pair). This small registration fee helps ensure commitment while keeping the experience accessible to all WNSL coaches.

Each session is limited to 10 teams and designed for a head coach and assistant coach to attend together (20 coaches total) to ensure a meaningful and interactive experience.

- Session 2: Tuesday, August 4, 2026

- Time: 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

- Location: Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, 3421 Belmont Boulevard, Nashville, TN 37215
