  •  2022 WNSL WINTER BASKETBALL

Note: We are not playing at Legacy Courts on Jan 15. Teams not playing on 1/15 will have a game on 1/30.

TITANS CONFLICTS on 1/22:

To All in Basketball and Soccer,

With the Titans game on Saturday we are asking for all to be considerate of their opponent and if you need to cancel your youth soccer or basketball game to please let us know before Thursday at noon.

We will be glad to remove any teams off of the schedule before Thursday at noon. Removal from the schedule for the Titans game means your team will lose this game and it will not be made up.

Coaches may ask other coaches to swap games but this must be done nlt Thursday at noon and the league must know about the swap and the schedule changed.

It is unacceptable to just not show up for your game on Saturday and forfeit.

Parents need to communicate with their coaches on their availability due to the Titans game!

Coaches must communicate to the league if they need to cancel their game by Thursday at noon.

We ask everyone to respect your opponent.

We unfortunately cannot make up games due to the Titans game.

We appreciate your consideration and understanding this situation.

We wish the Titans the best of course but not at the expense of teams forfeiting their youth soccer and basketball games.

WE ASK EVERYONE TO RECHECK THEIR SCHEDULE ON FRIDAY MIDDAY ON WWW.WNSL.ORG  IN CASE YOUR OPPONENT HAS CANCELED. YOU MAY EITHER HAVE A NEW OPPONENT, YOUR GAME IS MOVED TO A NEW TIME OR YOUR GAME IS CANCELED. WE HOPE NONE OF THIS HAPPENS BUT IT IS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY!!

Basketball Game Reschedules
We will be making up basketball games by first relying on coaches to reach out to their opponent coach and rescheduling the game from today to their practice times. Email Scott the rescheduled game time/location at least 3 days ahead of time and the WNSL will provide a referee.  The second way of rescheduling some games will be by extending times in the gyms we play in. This rescheduling will take a few weeks to accomplish. To reemphasize- to guarantee the game from Saturday the 8th to be rescheduled is by the coaches getting together and rescheduling their game on their own at their practice time. Contact information for all coaches is located on the "Team Roster" page of www.wnsl.org. Log in to the website with password and contact information will be in sight. Find "Winter Basketball 2022" and roll to your grade/gender and click on the "+" sign by the coach name. With the help from coaches, we will do our best to reschedule as many games from the 8th as possible. We do ask for coaches to reschedule their game with their opposition as soon as possible and this must be accomplished in January.
