(a) Courtesy Runners will be permitted for both the current catcher and current pitcher. 

(b) If a team has substitutes that have not yet entered the game, they will be the courtesy runners.

(c) If all subs have officially entered the game, courtesy runners can be players who were removed when those subs went in.

(d) In the event that a team has no subs, then the Courtesy Runners can be the player who was last to bat in the previous inning. (and next to last bat if courtesy runner is needed in same inning for both catcher AND pitcher. Same courtesy runner must NOT be used for both the catcher and the pitcher in the same inning.

(3) Pitch Counts--Please be attentive on Cal Ripken kid-pitch age divisions and Babe Ruth ages to record pitch counts to keep each player within the legal limits. Whether kept by the base umpires, official pitch-count person, or Official scorer, this needs to be done and checked with coaches each half-inning. The Tournament Coordinator should retain all records of pitch counts. Remember, our State tries to prevent players from violating instead of catching someone violating.
